Thank You! What a great 2021 tax season! CASH has had an unprecedented year and we could not have done it without the support of our clients, staff, volunteers, interns, and community partners. Two years ago, we faced uncertainty and had to pivot the way that we deliver services to our clients. This year, VITA returned to in-person appointments Monday through Saturday for the entire tax season. This came with its own set of challenges but, also an enormous amount of success. I truly appreciate each of you and your dedication to our services. During this tax season, we responded to over 10,000 phone calls. We were able to complete 3,000 returns and put over 7 million dollars in Federal and State refunds back into the hands of families in our community and back into our local economy. What I am most proud of is the fact that we helped our clients save approximately $750,000 in processing fees due to over 4,000 hours of volunteer preparation, screening, and client contact. Thank you, clients, for choosing us year after year, and for trusting us to help you meet your financial goals. Thank you to our staff, interns, and volunteers for showing up day in and day out and for going above the call of duty. Finally, thank you to our community partners and funder who support use behind the scenes. That kind of support is felt and greatly appreciated.
